About Connies of Cardiff

Connies of Cardiff Ltd was originally formed as a structural engineering company and traded as such for over 50 years until the general decline in the construction industry in the early 1980s. Connies then decided to move into the office rental business. The structural engineering office block had accommodated up to 50 staff members mainly in small or medium size rooms and we discovered a niche market in the mid 80s for tenants wishing to run a small (often one-man) business.

We continued in this market until the early 1990s when we doubled the size of the offices by building a second floor and a further extension. This enabled us to offer some larger units which have proved popular with more well established businesses.

Our location in Rhymney River Bridge Road is ideal for tenants with cars as there is ample on site parking, and Connies House is half a mile from the A48 (M4 link) and 2 miles for the city centre. Furthermore, for tenants or staff using public transport there is an excellent bus service from the city centre with buses serving Rumney, St Mellons and Newport at intervals of approximately 7 minutes, all stopping about 200 yards from the office complex.
